Alhamdulillah, we had many brothers and sisters who attended Eid-Al-Adha prayer with us. We had two prayers, one at 6:45 and another at 8:30 am. We had goodie bags for children and deserts. This event was only possible with the help of the volunteers who put tireless effort into making this event successful. May Allah bless you all.
Buffalo mayor Byron Brown is one of the well-wishers of the Downtown Islamic Center. He arrived on the day of Eid at approximately 8:35 PM. He greeted everyone with a short speech and left after the Eid Prayer was completed. Many thanks to the Mayor for his support.
Downtown Islamic Center works day and night to make the outdoor prayer space a permanent establishment for All Muslims. It will be a proud moment for all of us when it happens. Thank you, everyone, for your support.
