Downtown Islamic Center is working to acquire St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church and convert it into an Islamic center. St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church is located along the south side of Broadway between Watson and Emslie Streets on the East Side of Buffalo, New York. The church is on a property of just under one acre, including the church building itself and the vacant parking area to the west. The former St. Ann’s rectory, convent, and school are located south of the church. The property also includes a residential building with 19 apartments. This massive property, including the current downtown Islamic Center, will be one of North America’s most prominent Islamic centers. There can be a school with over 3000 students, an Islamic cultural center, and a vast masjid.

This large establishment will be a dream come true for all the Muslims in Buffalo and all over the United States. It will be a proud moment for all of us. In Sha Allah, it will happen soon. The closing of the property is on August 31st, 2022. We need $500,000 + closing costs before the closing day. We will also need over $500,000 for urgent repairs.
