ASSALAMUALIKUM
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE AND THERE FAMILIES ON EID DAY. We thank everyone who came last time in the freezing weather and rain. Everyone showed there dedication to DIC. We had over 3-4K Brothers and sister came during Eidul Fitr outdoor prayer.
On behalf of DIC, We want to thank everyone who participated in the last Eid event. It was super successful. Thanks to everyone’s effort for the sake of Allah. Inshallah, this time, it will be as successful, if not better, since the weather most likely will be on our side. It’s a true blessing to know and see that everyone is united and stands as one. The last Eid event was a great testament to that. Knowing how cold it was and raining, over 3k people were there in the cold and rain. May Allah bless those who participated in our effort.
Whatever funds we collected, we distributed to the masjid to cover related expenses. Zakat money was sent immediately to the poor. Before the prayer and after the prayer. We had over 50 volunteers with yellow vests; we had private armed security; we had the mayor and top Officials as guests, and we had full support from the police for full security measures; we had two streets blocked off; we had light refreshment arrangements for our brothers and sisters. We had toy goodie bags for kids, tents to protect us from the rain, tarps on the ground, speaker systems, walkie-a-talkie systems to Communicate, and so much more. This time we will have the same plus much more inshallah. BDIC is looking for volunteers; please let us know if you are interested in becoming a volunteer during the Eid Event. We will form a committee to get the work started. We appreciate all of your effort and help. This time we will arrange much better as we learn from our mistakes. Please pray for us. Dic and its members are trying at most to do the most for the Muslim umma for the sake of Allah, and In Sha Allah, Allah will save a spot for us in the highest Jannah.
